Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program 2022 - Masters Program in Stanford University, USA

Dear students,

We are pleased to announce Knight-Hennessy Scholars 2022 Cohort for graduate programs in United States. It is a fully funded scholarship program for Masters in US. This platform provides a collection of community experiences, workshops, meetings with leaders, domestic and global study trips, and personal development opportunities. The grant of this program will fund participant’s tuition, air ticket, a stipend for living and academic expenses.

Please note, to be considered for Knight-Hennessy Scholars, you must submit two applications: one to Knight-Hennessy Scholars by October 6, and one to the Stanford degree program by its deadline. Details of each program varies.

Overview:

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars graduate program cultivates a diverse, multidisciplinary community of emerging leaders from around the world and guides them to collaborate, innovate, and communicate as they prepare to address the complex challenges facing society. Knight-Hennessy Scholars become part of a supportive family of fellow scholars. Through the King Global Leadership Program, scholars will broaden knowledge, develop skills, and strengthen character; this platform provides a collection of community experiences, workshops, meetings with leaders, domestic and global study trips, and personal development opportunities. Knight-Hennessy Scholars also receive funding for graduate study at Stanford University.

Eligibility:

  • Must have earned first bachelor’s degree by January 2015 or later
  • Apply to enroll in a full-time graduate program at Stanford University 
  • Priority will be given to those who plan to spend at least 2 years at Stanford

Selection criteria: 
In selecting Knight-Hennessy Scholars, primarily three areas are focused:

Financial benefits:
During each of the first three years of graduate study, Knight-Hennessy Scholars receive:

  • a fellowship applied directly to cover tuition and associated fees 
  • a stipend for living and academic expenses (such as room and board, books, academic supplies, instructional materials, local transportation, and reasonable personal expenses)
  • a travel grant intended to cover an economy-class ticket for one annual trip to and from Stanford
  • NOTE: Knight-Hennessy Scholars also may access supplemental funds to support academic enrichment (e.g., conference travel). 

Application procedure:
Apply separately to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program and to Stanford graduate degree program. 

  • Step 1:
    Start your online application for Knight-Hennessy Scholars and prepare application requirements. 
  • Step 2:
    Submit the online application for Knight-Hennessy Scholars by October 06, 2021, 1:00 PM Pacific Time.
    (Note: You will not be able to edit once you submit your application.) 
  • Step 3:
    If necessary, update test scores for Knight-Hennessy Scholars through your application status page.
    (Note: The status page is visible only after you submit your application.) 
  • Separately:
    Prepare and submit the application for the Stanford graduate program you are interested in pursuing by its deadline. Visit the website of the program for its application deadline, program requirements, and any fees.
