IEEE Xplore Challenge-2020
We are pleased to share that the IEEE Xplore Challenge for Researchers in Pakistan is a new initiative designed specifically to promote scientific excellence in research across Pakistan. Designed to inspire innovation and encourage users to discover new research and cutting edge ideas via the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, the IEEE Xplore Challenge invites you to put your research skills to the test. IEEE Xplore Challenge is comprised of 20 questions and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The participants with the highest quiz scores will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of the 10 prizes. Once you begin the challenge, you must complete it in its entirety in one session and submit a completed IEEE Xplore Challenge to qualify.

Rules & Regulations:
Contest Rules and Prizes: The IEEE Xplore® Challenge for Researchers in Pakistan is open to all academic and research scholars who are from universities who have a subscription or trial access to IEEE Xplore, and are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. The respondents with the highest quiz scores will be entered into a drawing to win one of several prizes. See the official rules and regulations below.
- The IEEE Xplore Challenge for Researchers in Pakistan is open to citizens of Pakistan only.
- Once registered, an applicant needs to submit the entire completed quiz by 31 January 2020.
- Limit of one entry per person.
- A user can attempt only one question at a time. Answers cannot be modified once submitted.
- Entrants should login to IEEE Xplore through their institution's IP address.

IEEE Xplore Challenge for Researchers in Pakistan (contest) is open to all academic and research scholars from universities who have a subscription or trial access to IEEE Xplore, and are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Employees of IEEE ("Sponsor"), their family members, and direct vendors of Sponsor are prohibited from entering. Entrants are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Entrants may be subject to rules imposed by their institution or employer relative to their participation in contests and should check with their institution or employer for any relevant policies. Void where prohibited by law.
Agreement to Official Rules:
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to abide by the rules and regulations (official rules) thereof as established by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to alter any of these Official Rules at any time and for any reason. All decisions made by Sponsor concerning the Contest shall be final and at its sole discretion.
This Contest commences on 1 October 2019 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on 31 January 2020 at 11:59 PM EST ("Entry Period"). Sponsor's server is the official clock for the Contest. Entries received before or after the entry period are void.
How to Enter:

- providing your full name and email address,
- filling in the Online questionnaire (collectively an "Entry"), and
- submitting the completed Entry by clicking the "Submit" button. No changes may be made to an Entry once it has been submitted. All entries must be in English. Incomplete, illegible or garbled entries will be disqualified. Your submission must be fully completed and received by 31 January 2020 in order to be eligible for entry into the contest. Entrants should login to IEEE Xplore through their institution's IP address.
Selection of Winner:
Entrants who answer 90% or more of the contest questions correctly shall be eligible for a random drawing. Entries with less than 90% correct answers will not be eligible for the drawing or prize. Odds of selection in the random drawing depend upon the number of eligible entries received. A purchase does not improve chances of winning.
The prize(s) for the Contest are being sponsored by IEEE. One (1) winner will receive 1st Prize – one (1) Apple iPad Air 256GB (approximate retail value (ARV): Rs. 106,000). Nine (9) Winners will receive 2nd Prize – one (1) Apple iPad, 128GB (approximate retail value (ARV): Rs. 67,500). Apple and iPad are registered trademarks of Apple Inc. Apple Inc. is in no way affiliated with this contest and this contest is not authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Apple Inc. No cash in lieu of prize or substitution of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value in its sole discretion if any of the titles should be unavailable for any reason at time of award. Sponsor shall not be responsible for service obligations or warranty (if any) in relation to the prize(s).
