LSE Pakistan Summit 2017

Dear students and faculty members,

We are pleased to share that IBA shall host 'Pakistan @ 70', the first-ever LSE Pakistan Summit 2017, being organised by the South Asia Centre (LSE) on April 10 - 11, 2017!

Interested postgraduate students and faculty members can send an email by Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at internationaloffice@iba.edu.pk along with their full names and ERP IDs.

Registration is free of cost but it is mandatory to attend the complete Summit. Please note that there are limited seats dedicated for IBA. Therefore, registrations shall be on first come first served basis.

Program Details:
Pakistan @ 70, sponsored by Aman Foundation and curated by the LSE South Asia Centre, will create a global platform to debate topics of contemporary relevance to Pakistan's regional power on the international stage.

The two day event will feature 4 panels:
- Constitution of Pakistan,
- Philanthropy and Institution Building,
- Art and Modernity,
- Development

There will also be a specially curated lecture by Professor David Gilmartin on 'The Indus and its Peoples'.

Speakers include LSE academics and experts from within Pakistan and abroad, and across sectors from government officers to business and community leaders. In seeking this collaborative model, the South Asia Centre hopes to bring expertise from across the world to a single platform.
